Journey Through the Year with Somatic Seasons is a series of workshops across the year to help us embrace and transition through the seasons of this annual cycle:
Embracing Autumn - Join me for Autumn inspired Somatic movement sequences, indulgent Yin poses, outdoor meditation, altar making, tea meditation and a cosy Yoga Nidra
Deep Winter Rest - Join me for Somatic restorative practices, self massage with seasonal essential oils, planting a seed of intention mindfulness practice, an extended cosy Winter Yoga Nidra and a delicious chocolate meditation
Spring Awakening - Join me in celebrating nature's renewal where we will be exploring movement of energy with Qigong inspired movement and breath work, making our own essential oils and navigating the transition into the season of Spring in an embodied way
Celebration of Summer - Join me in celebrating the season of Summer where we will be bathing in nature, exploring outdoor meditation and mantra as well as trying variations of Sun Salutations.
2.5hr workshops that include an opening and closing circle, guided somatic movement practices, seasonal activities, outdoor meditations, Yoga Nidra and so much more!Â
Hosted at the beautiful Yoga Shed in the heart of Wickham. This tranquil private venue is fully equipped so there is no need to bring your mat or props as these will be provided, but if you would prefer to use your own or have a particular favourite bolster, cushion, eye pillow or blanket, then please feel free to bring your own.
I will be providing light refreshments (tea & biscuits) but if you would like to bring your favourite drink, cup or snack, please do. It is always a good idea to bring a bottle of water with you.
There is plenty of parking in Wickham Square, and as the workshops are on a Sunday, this will be free. The studio can be accessed via its own entrance (signposted green door) next to the Co-Op in the square.
It is a fully accessible venue and we have exclusive use during our session, including the beautiful outdoor area, which will be perfect for taking our practice outside for seasonal outdoor meditation, so please bring appropriate clothing.
